MCD is known for teaching correct technique, terminology, and artistic quality.  Correct technique is important for all students from the youngest to oldest student whether you are taking dance for fun or to become a professional.  Dance develops not only the ability to dance but also physical conditioning, musicality, cooperation, confidence to appear before groups (including in school presentations), and self-discipline.  These are life skills that are essential for everyone.

All technique, dances, music, and costumes are age appropriate.

Ms. Bolitho holds a master’s degree in education and has taught ballet in Marquette, at NMU, and K. I. Sawyer (when it was an Air Force base).   MCD is celebrating its 33rd year of successful dancers in Marquette.

SWAN LAKE will be presented on Saturday, June 13, 2015, at Forest Roberts Theatre at 7 p.m.  Ticket will go on sale on June 1 at the Second Skin Shop.  Tickets will also be available at the door the night of the performance.
